Well it doesn’t matter if you skate for the Bakersfield Condors. The ECHL team owned by the Edmonton Oilers will be sporting these phenomenal jerseys in honor of the 25th anniversary of the first Seinfeld episode on November 16th. Player names will be replaced with names from the popular series like “Jerry, George” and even “Newman.”
I don’t really follow hockey that much. I certainly don’t follow ECHL hockey but this may be one of the coolest promotions I’ve ever seen a sports team establish. They could probably show episodes of Seinfeld on their scoreboard the entire night and make the game far more entertaining. Not sure how the players feel but this could definitely come up at the next airing of grievances.
